No problem with breakfast this morning after following suggestions by Andrea (PA) from yesterday's visit. Continue to eat whatever appeals to me, but I do avoid hard-to-wash vegetables and fruits all of which have to be washed under running water before peeling. I take one pill that needs to be taken on empty stomach so have nothing to eat from about 1:00 to 5:00 PM. And "Happy Hour" has been drastically curtailed.
We go back to the hospital for more blood work at 8:30 AM tomorrow and may be told at that time that we should move closer to the hospital, which will be into our friend Joanna's home. It is just 10 minutes from the hospital even when we have to stop for all but one of the traffic lights along the way. Proximity to the hospital will be desirable starting Sunday morning because we are supposed to be there at 7:00 AM and each day thereafter.

Hi Ron.......
ReplyDeletePeggy Baczuk checking in. This is a great idea, if I can figure out this "profile" entry. Good pictures....and a great journal. I am thinking about you every day, and know how traumatic is is. You're a tough old bird, but this will be a trial. Keep up this journal, and I will check it out frequently.
This is awful....have you tried Ensure or one of those drinks for your nuitrition? Jenni used those when she was on chemo and too tired to cook.
Rooting for you, through every step of this miserable process.
Peggy
