Jeri is the social worker who handles all sorts of problems for patients. We have concluded that Joanna's house might not be as conveniently situated as we had first thought. We left home at 8:15 this morning for the the 9:00 AM appointment and ran into some bad traffic, the trip should only take 30 minutes with average traffic. By the time we got to where 13th East intersects Foothill it was 8:51 and we were a couple of minutes from Joanna's driveway (although we had not gone by her house to check the timing) and didn't get to the Hospital until a couple of minutes after 9:00. So while waiting for the infusion to proceed we talked to Jeri about something close and there are 2 places that she recommends: one is called the 1-Bedroom Carriage House Apartments and after her description we asked her to book us in for 2 weeks beginning September 8, unfortunately it was booked; so she called the University Guest House on the U of U Campus and booked the same period for us there. It is only about 2 minutes from the BMT clinic. I do not know if they have room phones, but we will have the cell phone with us: number (just as a reminder) 801-597-0330.
