No pedestal for Kate, but no lashes either

Jane is Dr. Tricot's nurse and she did much of the caring today, including replacing the needles in my port and hooking up the 4-hour infusion of Aredia, which is to build bone strength alongwith the Calcium + Vitamin D pills that I take 3 times a day. The other infusion I expected to get was just a shot of Aranesp, which is to stimulate red cell production (Malene came and gave me that shot and then hooked up my Vancomycin presure pump after the infusion had been going for an hour or so.

I have reverted to my regular sleep pattern: read for a few minutes, go to sleep and wake in 1 1/2 or 2 hours to visit the restroom, have trouble going back to sleep so go into the next room and read for an hour or so and finally fall asleep, but awaken around 5:00 with another need for a pit stop and then sleep until the alarm goes off. The potassium does help in causing less fatigue and the hospital nurses and pharmacist were glad that Kate had prescribed it for me and they agreed that I didn''t need to take the Reglan at bedtime. So Kate got some backhanded compliments for her intervention. It was a tiring session because it lasted so long
