Blisters on Emma's leg

This picture was taken by some long time friends who we haven't seen for many years. It shows that my hair is growing and tries to lie flat along my temples so I may keep it short and comb it forward to match Emma's hairdo.

We called Dr. Curtis' office from the BMT clinic
because Emma has been getting blisters on both
sides of her leg for 3 or 4 weeks and they don't seem to heal. We were able to get in to see him and he did not know what the cause is, but it may be due to some undetermind bacteria so he took a culture and gave her 2 prescriptions for anti-bacterial infections and we made an appointment to see him again on April 7. He said that it seems to be confined to the skin and he doesn't think there is any deep infection that might affect the hardware in her leg.

I mentioned that I had suggested that she keep it unbandaged to let it dry out and he said that was good advice. But he gave her non-stick pads to go on the blistered areas and soft gauze bandages for her night time use and he bandaged the leg while we were there in order to show her how she should do it.
