This is the invitation that we mailed out in 2000 to invite people to our 50th Wedding Anniversary; a similar one will be mailed out within the next couple of days. In the meantime I hope that any of the readers of this blog will communicate to us whether you are likely to attend. You can do so by commenting on the post or by e-mailing us at: rwillden@earthlink.net.
The visit to the BMT clinic at the Huntsman Cancer Institute yesterday was a little different from the normal visit. My bloodwork showed that my red blood cells and my platelets were both low and they determined that I should have an Arenesp shot to force the cells out of the done marrow into the blood stream. This prolonged the visit by the time needed to get the Arenesp sent up from the pharmacy and I was home before 11:00 AM.
For the annual celebration, I have settled on a caterer and set the date to be September 6, an open house from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at our house; location 8750 Kings Hill Drive, SLC. UT 84121.
We had a Western combo playing in 2000, but I have not been able to reach the leader of that combo and don't know whether we will try to have live music this year.
Emma's leg has not given her any trouble for quite some time, except it sometimes is stiff when she arises from the couch or a chair. I expect she needs to get back into her acquasize routine, but she doesn't like to go to the outside pool during the summer because of crowding and generally cold water. Maybe when school starts she will go back.
