The week long hiatus last month in the chemo drugs meant that I would not have the Aredia infusion on day4 of the cycle, but instead would have it on day 18 so today was a long day at the BMT clinic. Long because the nurses weren't aware that I was to have the infusion so we had to wait for the Aredia to be sent over from the Pharmacy. It required 4 hours again because my kidney function still is not normal and I wasn't free to leave until almost 1:00. I did not have to wait at the Pharmacy, though because Jen had called in my prescriptions and they were ready when I got there. I don't go back to the clinic until October 25 and probably won't post again until then. We are going to Cedar City on October 21 for the Fall program of the Shakespeare Festival, 3 shows which we will see in a day and a half so we will be home late on the 22nd.
I continue to feel good between visits, but tire rapidly when I try to do any real work. The rain gutter on the south side of our upper garage had become detached from the roof over about two thirds of its length and I have worked at putting it back in place since last Saturday, a few hours at a time and the work leaves me so exhausted that I have to rest several hours to recover. I finally finished the job this afternoon and got the ladder and the tools put away and was so tired I could hardly hold my head up.
Emma is going to the aquasize class fairly regularly now and finds the exercise to be quite helpful in increasing the flexibility in her ankle, but it does stiffen up when she sits for any length of time. She has quite a few friends who go to the same class (not all at once) and enjoys the socializing.
