Long time; no write!

Visits to the Huntsman BMT clinic the last 2 weeks have been routine although slow and not with much of interest to Post. I saw Elliott Rudisill a couple of weeks ago and asked about my copy of the letter that Dr. Tricot dictates as part of each visit and which I had not and have not received. I like to read the letter because I don't remember everything the Doctor says and some of it I don't understand. Elliott reported back that there has been a severe backlog of dictation to transcribe and eventually I will receive a copy of the letter from the visit in September (13th).

I was seen by a new nurse on Monday, Alina, and she wanted to familiarize herself with my treatment by asking quite a few questions and then when the report on the bloodwork finally arrived she was concerned that my platelets and hemoglobin were low and she needed to talk to the PA, Amanda because Abby was off to Hawaii for a convention and a week of Holiday time, before giving me a Velcade shot and letting me leave. Much waiting then entailed and when Alina gave me a printout of the bloodwork I could see that the Platelets were somewhat higher than they had been the week before and the hemoglobin was nearly as high as it had been. Anyway I got the shot and was able to go to the pharmacy where there was another wait and I didn't get until after 1:00 PM.
