The nurses said that I passed out sitting in a chair in the room where they draw the blood. So I went every where in clinic thereafter, even to the restroom (twice) and down to the car in the parking garage via wheelchair.
This is Abby Staible, PA (physcians assisstant), who gave an updated drug list that either cut off or put on hold those medications that have been most responsible for lack of sleep, but 2 of them had ended by prior schdules yesterday. So I slept through the procedures this morning and have dozed off several times this afternoon. I had 2 infusions of antibiotics then an infusion of platelets and then a one-liter saline drip. My vitals at the beginning of the session showed a blood pressure lower than yesterday's, which was 89/56. But it slowly rose during the procedures and had gotten to 120/70 by the time I was finished. I am able to get around without aid now, but have very little energy.
Good luck, grandpa. You're almost done.
