How good are Myeloma markers?

I had quite a long session at the BMT clinic yesterday. The Velcade shot was ready for me almost as soon as I got into the Infusion room and I was told that the Aredia infusion was ready, but Scott did not start it until almost 10:00 and he said it would take 4 hours because they are concerned about possible damage to my kidneys. However, on Monday Andrea looked at my bloodwork and told me that my kidney function apears to be normal. I didn't get home until after 2:00 PM. Fortunately they did provide me with a sandwich for lunch.
I plotted the Myeloma markers shown on the printout of Monday's bloodwork and when I did I found that I had made mistakes in plotting the April 19 markers. So I have corrected those and the new numbers are shown on the graph above. I don't see much correlation between Kappa Free Light Chains and the ratio between the Kappa and Lamba light chains. I will be seeing Dr. Tricot on June 21 and I hope he will explain to me the significance of these numbers.
Emma has been taking the correct medication since last Saturday to treat the blisters that had reappeared on her leg and no blisters have appeared since then. But she does have pain in the leg, particularly at night and has had to take pain killers in order to sleep. It has certainly been a long time in healing and has convinced her she should never again try to use a ladder.
