No progress on "An Aside"

The Cancer Patient and his 3 daughters; Nancy on the left, then Judy here for the weekend from Lafayette, CO, and Karen visiting until July 16 from Schaumburg, IL. Nancy served us a very nice dinner this evening and we made plans to travel to Hobble Creek in the morning to watch 3 of the grandchildren finish a half marathon.


We also talked about the events of the spring to bring the out of town girls up to date and I told them all about the runoff damage to the street just south of us and how static the situation has become. Once in awhile the backhoe is taken away, but there has been no sign of contractors coming to bid on replacing the culvert. It has now been more than a month since the damage was done to the culvert.
