Abreviated tests next cycle

When I saw Eliott last week he told me that he was working on a schedule for my tests and appointment with Dr. Tricot for early September. Then a day or so later I received an e-mail with the schedule and was surprised to see that no scans were scheduled. This will be the first cycle-ending test period without either a PET or MRI scan. I do not know the significance of not undergoing a scan and may not know until I see Dr. Tricot on September 13, except his letter of June 17 has a very short paragraph saying that the PET scan "shows no focal myelomatous lesions and no evidence of extramedullary myeloma." The myeloma markers that he follows and are shown by blood anaylses have not changed much at all, but perhaps I am getting closer to remission?

The session in the clinic yesterday was short once it started after a 30 minute wait in the registration office. The nurse drew 5 vials of blood and gave me the Velcade shot imediately after drawing the blood and told me I could leave, but I waited to get a printout of the bloodwork from last week and told her I would get that day's report next week. I then had to wait at the pharmacy as I almost always do so didn't get home until noon.

Emma has only taken 2 of the Mobic (Myloxicam) pills that Dr. Curtis prescribed for her on our last visit. She says that she only needs to take it once in awhile and the effect of taking it is almost immediate when she does need it. Her energy shames me; she is active at something every day, either out in the yard or cleaning out and discarding unneeded things in the house. She says I could be cleaning up my office while I am resting but I don't know where to start.
