I don't like my schedule, which I tell anybody who will listen

I was at the clinic today at 11:00 as scheduled in spite of spending considerable time finding a parking place; one of the reasons I don't like the schedule.  I told the lady at the registration desk about the difficulty finding a place to park and she wondered if I had tried the Valet Parking.  So I told her about my last use of Valet Parking 4 or more years ago when the brute who parked my pickup stomped on the emergency brake so hard that none of the attendants could release it and they came to ask me to release the brake .  I couldn't do it either and called AAA to have somebody come release the emergency brake.  After registering I then spent a half hour waiting out in the hallway until Robin, a new and perhaps very new, nurse took me for vitals in the Infusion Room.  My blood pressure this morning was 110/80, which was much lower than the 3 readings that Bethany had taken last week when the systolic pressure had been 145 to 147 and the diastolic 75 to 77.  My blood pressure has almost always been 110 to 120 systolic and 57 to 60 diastolic and these latest readings puzzle me.  Robin said the 110/80 is a very good blood pressure and I suppose the improvement in the systolic reading in a weeks time is because I have been taking Claritin, instead of Sudafed but the diastolic still seems high to me.

Laurie told me as she passed by that they had my Velcade and I would soon be out of there, but it was almost 12:30 before Robin was ready to administer it.  Camille hovered over both of us to hand saline and other items Robin seemed to need.  The insertion of the needle into my port made me wince and Camille told her to push it in faster next time and by then I was convinced that Robin is in training as an Infusion Room nurse.  Nobody had come around to take orders for sandwiches for lunch and I am now wondering if the hospital is on an expense cutting program.  I am not scheduled to go until 2:00 PM, well after lunch time, next Monday so will have to wait 2 weeks to ask about the cost cutting. Emma was surprised and disappointed that I had not brought a sandwich home to share with her.
