X-rays on left hip and other items

I did call Andrea yesterday and left a message about my failure to go to Radiology for x-rays of my hip  and less than an hour later Meg called me to ask if I could go for the x-ray that day.  I told her I could not because we had workmen from Bath Crest coming to continue work on remodeling of 2 of our bathrooms and Emma was off playing bridge and I wouldn't be able to leave until after she gets home sometime after 4:00.  Meg then urged me to come Wednesday because the authorization for the x-ray would not last very long and she wanted me to inform them as soon as the x-rays were done.

I went to the Radiology lab in the Huntsman Hospital today for the x-rays that Andrea had ordered; I waited until well after breakfast and after the Bath Crest man had come and started work in order to travel after the morning rush.  I was surprised that my wait after checking in was quite short and the procedure did not take long.  The technician took 3 pictures and said the BMT clinic would be told that they would be available soon.  I then went to the clinic and asked to talk to or see Meg and she soon came and was pleased that I had been so prompt.  I told her about the high blood pressure measurements that Bethany had made on Monday and that Andrea had suggested that the readings were abnormally high because of the Sudafed I had substituted for Claritin for the 6 days since I ran out of Claritin.  Meg told me that Sudafed is useful as an antihistamine because it shrinks the nasal passages and also shrinks the small blood vessels, which requires higher pressure to circulate the blood.  She told me I can buy Claritin at the pharmacy downstairs, and urged me to use Claritin instead of Sudafed.
