Excursion during time-off

The first Monday of this 2-week time-off was spent in Cedar City where we went to see 2 of the 6 plays being presented by the Shakespeare Festival during this, their Summer season.  We traveled there with our dear friend Roger Sorenson, actually in his automobile, on Sunday.  Roger didn't go to the evening show on Monday, which was "King John 1V, pt 2", because he felt tired and indisposed.  It was, in my opinion, a failure and the only show that disappointed us/me. It seemed he may have cobbled it together from discarded scenes from other plays that he had worked on.  We went intending to see the matinee and the evening show each day for 3 days and did so except I am the only one who saw all 6 plays;  Emna skipped 'Taming of the Shrew" Wednesday night.

The weather was almost beautiful except for waking up Tuesday morning to rain, which stopped before the matinee.  Roger had an umbrella, but Emma and I did not because ours were in our car still parked in our garage. We returned home on Thursday with a customery stop in Nephi at Mickelsons' cafe for their excellent soup.

We have no plans for next Monday, but something may come up to enable me to continue putting off efforts to get our house ready for an eventual sale.
